Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh rankedOpava and 8th ranked Lokomotiva had identical 4-5 record. This time Opava used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Plzen 88-67 on Saturday night. Opava forced 21 Plzen turnovers and outrebounded them 51-36 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Micah Perkins who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. Frantisek Harazin helped adding 10 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Four Opava players scored in double figures. Ondrej Vanik responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Slovakian point guard Filip Horvath (188-2007) scored 5 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Opava (5-5) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tygri Praha. Loser Lokomotiva dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Sokol Prazsky.
